Community Matters
Tartan Ribbon Re-Creations SCIO is a charity based in the Oxgangs area of Edinburgh. Our aim is to provide a place for people to gather and feel safe. We particularly welcome those who feel socially isolated. We encourage those who attend, to try out new craft activities. This in turn helps gain confidence, a sense of achievement and most importantly......a sense of fun and enjoyment!!
We also arrange outings to places of interest. Many people in our area have little opportunity to travel outwith our immediate environment.
We are open to people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicity. We pride ourselves in a welcoming and safe atmosphere.

At Tartan Ribbon Re-Creations SCIO, we are committed to enhancing the lives of members in the community through our wide range of activities and events. Over the years, we have built our reputation as a leading organisation and go the extra mile to make sure our members are happy with our services.
Ever since our partner organisation Best Bib N Tucker CIC opened its doors to the community in 2015 we have provided members the chance to get together and experience what we’re all about. In 2019 we set up this SCIO charity to run along side Best Bib N Tucker CIC. Our mission has always been to provide a safe and friendly environment where people can come along, take part, meet new friends, and share new experiences. This helps people within our community to escape boredom, isolation and loneliness, and to enjoy themselves and feel valued.
